Not long ago, a man walked into our office with a guitar under his arm. He had written a song for Manometric, and for the first time in three years, he could play again. All thanks to a small, perfectly fitting hand brace.
That's what we build. At Manometric, we design and produce custom orthoses using proprietary 3D scanning, smart software and scalable production. But the perfect fit starts long before production: it starts with the software a therapist uses to scan a hand, place an order, and follow it through. That's the software you'll build.
As a Full Stack Developer, you build the clinical, patient-facing web applications at the heart of our care process: from the moment a therapist scans a hand, to generating an order, to delivering a brace that fits perfectly. Every feature you ship makes that process faster, clearer and more reliable for patients and practitioners alike.
You'll own features end-to-end, from concept to production, working close to the people who actually use what you build. You see the bigger picture, translate it into clear deliverables, and make sure things get shipped.
You report to Tjebbe (Head of Software) and work daily with Harrie, Tristan and Geraldi.
-
Build and improve patient-facing clinical web applications used every day in the clinic
-
Develop features across the stack, from React frontends to backend services and data models
-
Design clean, reliable APIs that connect scanning, ordering and production workflows
-
Solve problems end-to-end: from concept, to build, to rollout, to real-world use
-
Work closely with product, design and clinical teams to get the details right
-
Care about UX: the people using your software aren't engineers, and it should feel effortless
-
Frontend: React, TypeScript
-
Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs
-
Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions
-
Testing: Jest, Playwright
We're looking for a full stack developer who cares as much about the people using the software as the code behind it. Someone who:
-
Has around 2 to 5 years of experience building web applications across the full stack
-
Is comfortable in TypeScript on both frontend and backend
-
Designs clean APIs and sensible data models
-
Builds with reliability and the end user in mind
-
Has a good sense for UX and can make things easy to use without leaning on a designer
-
Is hands-on, pragmatic and takes ownership of what they ship
-
Enjoys working directly with non-technical users and understanding their real problems
-
Speaks fluent English (Dutch is a plus)

-
A multidisciplinary team (hardware, software, clinical, design)
-
A clear growth path as your experience deepens
-
25 vacation days
-
An excellent pension plan
-
An open, entrepreneurial environment where your ideas truly matter
