We are seeking an enthusiastic Software Manager to lead, support and develop our engineering teams. This is a hybrid management role that combines people leadership with day-to-day team guidance, while remaining closely connected to the engineering environment.
As Software Manager, you will be responsible for setting direction for the team and creating the conditions for success. You will support engineers in their professional development, manage performance and review processes, and guide the team in adopting engineering best practices. While you won’t be responsible for defining strategy, you will play a key role in ensuring the team is aligned, focused and moving in the right direction.
In short, you are responsible for driving the team forward, helping engineers perform at their best and ensuring the team achieves its goals together.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the engineering team, ensuring focus, accountability and successful delivery.
- Inspire, motivate and develop engineers, fostering a positive and growth-oriented team culture.
- Manage performance, review cycles and ongoing development conversations for team members.
- Guide engineers on technical best practices while operating around the code rather than contributing as an individual developer.
- Lead team meetings, remove obstacles and drive continuous improvement across team processes and ways of working.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to align priorities, gather feedback and ensure effective execution.
- Foster a solution-oriented mindset, helping the team identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Translate vision and objectives into clear team priorities and drive delivery against agreed goals.

- 10+ years of experience leading and developing software engineering teams.
- Proven track record of driving team performance, accountability and successful delivery in a hardware/software development environment.
- Broad technical background across the full software stack, including embedded software, backend systems, cloud technologies and modern application development.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and the ability to guide teams without being hands-on in the code.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners and other stakeholders to align priorities and achieve business objectives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive, solution-oriented culture.
- Experience with Flutter and UI/UX development is considered a strong advantage.
