As a Financial Control Administrator, you'll support the innovation capacity of our entire organisation by applying your up-to-date financial expertise and analytical mindset. You'll be part of a close-knit team responsible for delivering accurate, transparent, and timely financial administration. You enjoy working collaboratively, have a keen eye for detail, and ensure that every figure is accurate down to the last decimal.
Together with a team of around 10 colleagues, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and complete processing of costs and revenues in SAP. You'll also play an important role in supporting smooth month-end and year-end closing activities.
What you'll be doing:
- Perform analyses of balance sheet accounts and provide input for reliable financial reporting.
- Monitor TNO's financial position and contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports for one or more departments within the Service Organisation.
- Help ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial control processes and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- A completed Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, combined with at least one year of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work accurately with financial data.
- Experience with SAP and an interest in AI are considered an advantage.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to contribute to innovation and automation while inspiring others to embrace new ways of working.
- A collaborative, service-oriented attitude and the flexibility to rotate tasks within the team. You are reliable, accurate, act with integrity, and are well organised.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
