Another Star is looking for a Jr. Tech Specialist Operations & Controls to support the daily execution of internal control activities, IT operational processes and administrative activities. The role ensures that controls are consistently executed, operational tasks are processed accurately and on time and required documentation and evidence are properly maintained for audit and compliance purposes.
This role combines hands-on operational support, administrative processing (including procurement/PO handling), and control execution within a structured IT environment.

Perform scheduled internal control activities in line with the defined control framework
- Execute control submissions across tools (e.g., LogicGate Risk Cloud) covering access management, Tech & Data operations, and change management
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and audit requirements
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, evidence, and proper record-keeping
- Identify, assess, and escalate control failures, risks, and deviations
- Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely responses
- Execute daily operational tasks within the Shared Services domain (Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement and Tech & Data) and ensure service continuity
- Process service requests and manage routine system and administrative IT activities
- Monitor middleware operations and resolve job errors within defined timelines
- Manage procurement-related tasks including Purchase Order creation, invoice tracking, vendor documentation, and budget support

Strong passion for automation, artificial intelligence, and innovation, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, business technology, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in IT operations, Service Desk, Shared Services, or administrative support environments
- Decent understanding of internal controls, compliance, audit requirements, and frameworks such as SOC and ISO
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow structured procedures consistently
- Well-developed documentation, organizational, and administrative skills (including procurement/PO processes)
- Experience with or exposure to tools like LogicGate and control management platforms is a plus
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong team-oriented thinking and business awareness
- Ability and interest in identifying and driving automation opportunities; familiarity with Agile and automation practices is a plus
