At CowManager, we develop technology that is used every day by dairy farmers in more than 40 countries. Our sensors continuously collect data on cow health, fertility and wellbeing. As a Hardware Engineer, you will play an important role in the further development of this technology.
You will work on products that are actually used in the field. You will build proof-of-concept hardware and translate functional requirements into robust hardware that can be produced and deployed on a large scale. You will be involved from the initial design through to validation, certification and introduction into practice.
You will work closely with firmware engineers, software developers, product managers and testers to successfully bring innovative products to market.
Your responsibilities

Designing electronic schematics and PCB layouts in Altium Designer

Selecting, testing and validating components with a focus on reliability and energy consumption

Developing and building prototypes for early validation

Supporting firmware development by ensuring hardware is available on time
-
Performing hardware tests and analyzing test results

Preparing and supporting certification processes

Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Actively contributing to product development within an Agile working environment

Guiding products from concept to production and implementation
What do you bring?
-
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a similar field
-
At least 3 years of experience as a Hardware Engineer

Experience with Altium Designer

Experience with low-power design
-
Knowledge of wireless communication such as 802.15.4, Zigbee or Bluetooth is a plus
-
Knowledge of channel sounding, IoT and tracking is a plus
-
Experience in developing products for production environments

At least basic knowledge of Python and C

Curiosity about new technologies, such as the application of AI in hardware

You are analytical, practical and take ownership of your work

You enjoy working with colleagues from different disciplines
