Koptekst voor beschrijving van de vacature: We are looking for a highly motivated Data Science Intern to support our Digital End-to-End (E2E) team within Global Supply Chain & R&D. In this role, you will contribute to advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making across our manufacturing, R&D, procurement, planning, and logistics processes. You will help turn complex datasets into actionable insights that improve efficiency, sustainability, and innovation across our global operations.

What We Ask
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or similar
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
Foundational understanding of machine learning, statistics, and analytical techniques
Ability to manipulate and analyze complex datasets
Basic proficiency in SQL
Strong communication and storytelling abilities
Curiosity to understand supply chain and R&D processes and ability to connect data with business logic
Availability for a minimum 5-6 month internship

As a Data Science Intern in the Digital E2E team, you will contribute to the digital transformation of our supply chain and R&D operations. Your responsibilities include:
Exploring and preparing datasets from manufacturing, R&D, procurement, planning, and logistics domains
Building predictive and statistical models to support efficiency improvements, scenario planning, recommendation engines and decision-making models
Contributing to dashboards and automated reporting for global stakeholders
Running exploratory data analyses to uncover patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities
Helping improve existing analytical pipelines and recommend process enhancements
Presenting insights and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborating with various teams to ensure your solutions align with real business needs
