Recognised as Company of the Year and Product of the Year, we are expanding our European team and are looking for a driven and analytical Technical Sales Specialist.
The Role
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will work closely with our Regional Sales Manager and wider sales organisation to ensure that prospective customers' requirements are understood and addressed effectively. You will be the bridge between Sales and Professional Services, delivering compelling product demonstrations and contributing technical expertise throughout the sales process.
What You Will Do
- Support Regional Sales Managers with lab audits, pre-demo strategy sessions, and on-site or remote product demonstrations
- Deliver clear and engaging software demonstrations tailored to diverse audiences, in person and via web presentation tools
- Create, maintain, and improve standard demonstrations for LabVantage's target sectors: General LIMS, Biobanking, Pharmaceutical, and Life Sciences
- Document lab audit findings, develop process flows, and contribute to Statements of Work
- Act as a liaison between Sales and Professional Services to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and delivered implementations
- Attend industry trade shows as attendee, exhibitor, and/or presenter
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline (BSc preferred)
- Background in the Life Sciences industry
- Fluency in Dutch and English (additional European languages are a plus)
- Experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or customer-facing solution demonstrations
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across international teams
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events
- Currently based in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, Cyprus, the UK, or Italy with the legal right to work in your country of residence
