The Role
iwell is expanding our partner-focused Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) ecosystem. We are looking for a Technical Product Introduction Manager who ensures new BESS products can be successfully selected and introduced into the iwell portfolio and operationalized across commercial, technical, and delivery functions. You will bridge product strategy and operational execution by driving supplier onboarding, technical qualification, compliance readiness, internal enablement, and product release readiness.
You will be joining a structured three-layer product organization:

Product Lead: Determines what portfolio direction we pursue.

Product Manager: Determines what capabilities we build and improve (specifically focusing on our internal Battery Controller and hardware integration).

Technical Product Introduction Manager (You): Determines how we operationalize new partner products successfully.
Key Responsibilities (Product Release & Lifecycle Management)
You will own the internal product release governance by driving our products through critical release phases:

Supplier & Technical Qualification: Conduct vendor due diligence, assess supplier maturity, and validate technical architecture and EMS integration fit.

Compliance Readiness: Ensure all required certifications (CE, EMC/RED, battery safety, grid codes) and technical documentation are market-ready.

Operational Readiness: Equip Operations and Technical Project Management teams with site prerequisites, installation manuals, and commissioning workflows.

Commercial Readiness: Enable the Sales team with product positioning, sizing constraints, use-case applicability, and warranty boundaries.

Portfolio Release: Own the product readiness checklist, proactively resolve blockers, and deliver the formal internal go/no-go recommendation.

Ongoing Lifecycle Support: Act as the operational bridge for deployed products, managing feedback loops, root-cause escalations, hardware revisions, and End-of-Life (EOL) transitions.
What we are looking for

Experienced in product introductions: You have a strong track record in product introductions and structured release management.

Domain Knowledge: A background in BESS architecture, EMS integration, and delivery/commissioning workflows is considered a strong plus.

Compliance Savvy: You are familiar with the hardware certification and regulatory compliance landscape.

Cross-Functional Leader: You bring excellent operational rigor and stakeholder management skills. You are able to align internal teams while constructively challenging suppliers.

Full-time (5 days per week / 40 hours) role. We are also open to you working parttime (4 days per week / 32 hours).
