Key Responsibilities:
Strategic IT Business Partner for Finance
Act as the overall IT Business Partner for Finance in the EU Hub, covering key Finance domains such as:
Financial Accounting (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)
Controlling and Management Reporting
Budgeting, Forecasting, and Planning
Treasury, Tax, and Statutory Reporting
Internal controls and compliance
Serve as the primary IT contact for Finance leadership on all IT-related topics.
2. Partner with Finance Leadership
Work closely with Finance leadership (CFO organization) to:
Understand Finance strategy, regulatory requirements, reporting needs, and operational pain points
Translate Finance business needs into a clear IT demand, capability roadmap, and investment plan
Ensure alignment between Finance strategy, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture principles
Own and continuously maintain the Finance IT roadmap, aligned with enterprise priorities and budget constraints
Provide Finance input into IT investment planning, budget prioritization, and value realization tracking
3. End-to-End Requirements Management
Own end-to-end requirement management for Finance-related IT initiatives
Shape, validate, and prioritize business requirements in close collaboration with Finance stakeholders
Ensure requirements are clearly defined with:
Business objectives and expected outcomes
Regulatory, compliance, and audit considerations
Scope, dependencies, risks, and assumptions
Clear success metrics and KPIs
4. Change Management & Business Adoption
Lead business-side change management for Finance IT initiatives
Drive stakeholder alignment across:
Finance, IT, and other enabling functions
EU Hub and National Sales Companies (NSCs)
Ensure Finance business readiness, including:
Process design and standardization
Data quality, governance, and controls
Capability building and end-user training
Track system adoption, process compliance, and business value realization post go-live
5. Project & Program Accountability
Act as Business Owner and Accountable Sponsor for Finance IT projects and programs
Ensure initiatives are:
Clearly scoped with defined objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
Prioritized and sequenced in line with the Finance IT roadmap
Partner with Project and Program Managers to:
Define delivery approach, milestones, and critical path
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
Prepare and support tollgates, steering committees, and portfolio reviews
Ensure transparent communication of status, risks, impacts, and decisions to Finance and IT stakeholders
Support go-live readiness, post-implementation reviews, and ongoing value realization
6. Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration
Coordinate with Solution Architects and Product Teams (DDC and/or external suppliers) to:
Collaborate with Project and Program Managers on planning, execution, milestones, and governance
7. Architecture, Security & Compliance
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, preferably with additional coursework or a minor in Business Administration.
Experience:
Strong understanding of Finance processes and systems (e.g. ERP-SAP, Financial Reporting, Planning tools)
Experience as an IT Business Partner, Finance Business Analyst, or IT Product Owner
Solid understanding of internal controls, audit, and compliance requirements
Experience working in multi-country or regional Finance organizations
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Business outcome– and value-driven mindset
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
Fluent in English; additional European languages or Mandarin Chinese a plus.
