Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer

As a Senior System Architect in the Container Department, you will be the technical authority shaping our containerized platform landscape. Do you like to design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that enable engineering teams to build and run modern cloud-native applications efficiently? Do you like to have a direct impact on platform reliability, developer experience, and business agility? Then please read further and apply online!

Your job

Define and own the target architecture for container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes-based environments)
Design end‑to‑end system architectures covering compute, networking, storage, observability, and security
Translate business and technical requirements into architectural standards and reference designs
Act as a trusted advisor to product teams, engineers, and stakeholders on container and cloud-native decisions
Drive architectural governance, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards and best practices
Evaluate, select, and introduce new technologies and patterns within the container ecosystem
Collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, security, and development teams to ensure successful implementation
Mentor engineers and architects, raising the overall architectural maturity of the department
Identify risks and bottlenecks early and design mitigation strategies

A multidisciplinary Container Department focused on enabling internal product and engineering teams
Close collaboration with platform engineers, DevOps, security specialists, and cloud teams
Agile, product‑oriented way of working with a strong emphasis on automation and Infrastructure as Code
Hybrid or cloud-first environments using modern CI/CD pipelines
A culture that values technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Freedom to influence technical direction and long-term platform strategy

Your profile

You live and breath kubernetes.
You fly through the cloud with complete confidence (Azure (but shouldnt matter, it's all APIs anyway)).
You love working with people.
In technical discussions, you are right between 80 and 90% of the time.
You enjoy being proven wrong more than being right.
