The Document Management & Archives (DMA) department oversees the provision of administrative information and serves in an advisory and supportive capacity to the various units of Wageningen UR in the areas of information management and document management. DMA provides the frameworks and guidelines within which staff must handle the provision of documentary information. The DMA department uses the Corsa archiving application. We are seeking a functional administrator to manage this application, among other responsibilities.

You serve as the link between business users and IT; you reach out and engage in dialogue to identify functional needs and determine which processes within the various applications could be improved;

You monitor performance and optimize it where possible in collaboration with the business and IT teams;

You conduct tests and implement improvements to the applications and interfaces between them, and you involve key users in the changes;

You advise and guide stakeholders through effective collaboration;

Initially, you will primarily work with our Corsa archiving application, but you have the willingness and skills to take on other applications within the team as well.
Your team
As a functional application manager at DMA, you will work closely with other application managers within the Multidisciplinary Property & Facility Service Team (MDT P&FS) and serve as the link between the business and the application functionality. This involves applications in six key areas: real estate management, facility management, physical access control, mobility, office automation, smart campus, and health & safety. For this, we use applications such as Planon, Corsa, Gaiyo, Kuario, and Diversity Travel. The team is responsible for second-line support and troubleshooting for these various applications. You won’t be sitting at your desk all day, but will regularly consult with your stakeholders.

You are empathetic, customer-focused, take initiative, and understand what is needed to optimize the functionality of the applications. In addition, you have an analytical mindset, and a high degree of independence is expected. You also pay close attention to the availability, stability, and user-friendliness of the delivered applications and have sufficient understanding of the underlying technology to quickly identify the cause of any issues. You assist users whenever possible but also know when to say no when necessary. You are results-oriented and proactive. You communicate easily and have an affinity for the information technology field.

HBO-level education and thinking skills;

Knowledge of archiving and experience with information management;

Knowledge of and experience with the Corsa application or the ambition to specialize in it;

Sufficient knowledge of the underlying infrastructure;

Knowledge of and experience working with Scrum within an Agile environment;

Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
In our international working environment there is an increasing amount of communication in English. For this position it is about language level C1 .

We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between €3.231,- and €4.929,- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 8/9). Additionally, for this role a contract for 32 hours can be discussed. As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended on good performance.
