The Role
We are looking for a AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade AI agents and large language model (LLM) applications that solve real enterprise problems at scale. In this role, you will work at the intersection of advanced AI research and practical engineering, taking systems from early experimentation through to reliable, secure, and observable production deployments.
You will play a key role in shaping our agentic AI architecture, setting technical standards, and mentoring engineers as we build intelligent systems with planning, reasoning, memory, and tool‑use capabilities.
- Design and build production-ready AI agents with advanced planning, reasoning, and autonomous tool‑use capabilities to support complex business workflows.
- Architect stateful, multi-step agent workflows using modern orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or AutoGen, ensuring scalability, reliability, and clarity of execution.
- Build and productionize RAG pipelines, including:
Robust data ingestion pipelines
Embedding and indexing strategies
Advanced retrieval techniques
Ranking and re‑ranking for high‑quality responses
- Integrate LLMs with enterprise systems by leveraging APIs, tools, and external data sources, enabling agents to interact safely and effectively with real-world systems.
- Continuously optimize RAG and agent performance, improving relevance, latency, cost efficiency, and overall system quality.
- Establish strong evaluation, observability, and guardrail frameworks for LLM systems, covering accuracy, safety, hallucination risk, latency, and operational cost.
- Deploy, operate, and scale AI applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud services, with a focus on reliability and production readiness.
- Drive technical design decisions, define best practices for agentic AI development, and mentor engineers to raise the overall technical maturity of the team.
- AI systems you build are trusted in production: observable, safe, cost‑aware, and resilient.
- Agent workflows are modular, explainable, and easy for teams to extend and maintain.
- RAG pipelines consistently deliver accurate, relevant, and timely results across diverse use cases.
- Engineering standards and patterns you establish accelerate delivery and reduce long‑term technical risk.
- Less experienced engineers grow through your guidance, code reviews, and technical leadership.

Required Skills and Experience
7-10+ years in software engineering, with strong Python expertise
Proven experience building agent-based or autonomous systems in production (not prototypes)
Strong experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI) including function calling and orchestration
Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI
Deep understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search), and retrieval optimization
Strong knowledge of LLM evaluation, prompt optimization, and safety techniques
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI) and microservices architecture
