About MoreApp
MoreApp is an innovative SaaS company that helps organisations, mainly in the installation and construction industries, digitalise forms, inspections and work processes. With our intuitive software, we make complex processes easier, increase productivity and help organisations work more efficiently and sustainably.
Today, around 40 colleagues work across the Netherlands, Spain, France and Germany. As our organisation continues to evolve, we’re looking for a new HR Business Partner to take ownership of our people agenda. This is a broad and hands-on role with plenty of responsibility. You’ll work closely with our leadership team, managers and employees, while continuing to build on and improve the HR foundations we have in place.
Your team
You’ll work closely with our CEO, CTO, CRO and team leads. You’ll be the go-to person for everything related to HR and our people. You won’t just advise from the sidelines, you’ll take ownership and make sure ideas and decisions are actually put into practice. You’ll work with colleagues across different countries and teams and have plenty of room to shape and professionalise HR at MoreApp.
What your workday looks like
As an HR Business Partner at MoreApp, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- You’ll work closely with the CEO, CFO and CRO on people topics such as team structure, talent development, organisational growth and culture.
- You’ll take ownership of HR-related decision-making and be responsible for the final HR decision.
- You’ll advise managers and team leads on performance, development, feedback, wellbeing, conflicts and other people-related topics.
- You’ll lead our performance and development cycles, from goal setting and reviews to follow-up.
- You’ll make sure our HR administration, employment agreements, compensation changes, employee data and external HR partners are well organised.
- You’ll own and develop our HR policies and make sure they work across the different countries we operate in.
- You’ll continuously improve our HR processes, including onboarding, performance management and employee experience.
- You’ll identify training needs and coordinate learning & development initiatives across the organisation.
- You’ll support recruitment from start to finish, from writing job descriptions and interviewing candidates to advising on hiring decisions and managing offers.
- You’ll make sure new employees have a great onboarding experience and feel at home at MoreApp from day one.
- You’ll monitor HR data such as turnover, sick leave, team growth and employee engagement and turn insights into clear actions.
- You’ll work with Marketing on employer branding and internal communication.
How we work
- Lots of autonomy and ownership: you’ll have the freedom to identify what’s needed and take action.
- An international organisation with around 40 colleagues across four countries.
- Short communication lines with the leadership team and a direct impact on important people decisions.
- A practical and pragmatic approach: we build, test, improve and learn.
- Plenty of room to shape and professionalise our HR processes.
- A hybrid working environment with our office in Rotterdam.
- A culture where feedback, collaboration and initiative are highly valued.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who enjoys switching between strategy and execution. You like creating a plan, but you’re just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves and making it happen.
You:
- Have experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or in a similar broad HR role.
- Are comfortable taking ownership of HR topics independently.
- Can communicate confidently with employees, managers and senior leadership.
- Are a strong communicator and know when to listen, advise or challenge.
- Have experience with performance management, employee relations and HR processes.
- Are structured and enjoy creating clarity and consistency.
- Are analytical and able to turn HR data into clear insights and actions.
- Have a solid understanding of employment law and know when to involve external experts.
- Are pragmatic and able to balance what’s ideal with what actually works for a growing organisation.
- Experience working in an international organisation and with different countries and employment legislation is a strong plus.
- Speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
What we offer:
Growth & development
- Lots of freedom to further develop your HR expertise.
- A personal learning budget and room for training, courses and other development opportunities.
- An environment where feedback, knowledge sharing and personal growth are encouraged.
- The opportunity to have a direct impact on how MoreApp grows as an organisation.
Great facilities
- Flexible working culture (remote & office-based).
- High-end MacBook.
- A great office right next to Rotterdam Central Station.
