Data Architect

At Mediq, data is one of our most strategic assets. As we continue to grow across Europe and accelerate our digital transformation, we are looking for a Data Architect who can help build the foundation for better decision-making, operational excellence, and improved patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and governing Mediq's enterprise-wide Information & Data Architecture. You will create the standards, models, and principles that ensure our data is reliable, accessible, secure, and ready to support the future of healthcare.
This is a highly visible role where you will work with senior stakeholders across multiple countries and directly influence how data supports business growth, innovation, and compliance.
Your impact
As Data Architect, you will translate business strategy into scalable data architecture solutions and standards. You will define target architectures, guide major transformation initiatives, and ensure consistent application of data principles across the organization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Defining and maintaining enterprise-wide Information & Data Architecture
- Developing conceptual and logical data models across master, reference, and transactional domains
- Establishing and governing data standards, metadata frameworks, naming conventions, and golden record principles
- Supporting strategic initiatives such as ERP transformation, integration modernization, and analytics enablement
- Performing impact analyses and acting as the design authority for data-related changes
- Embedding privacy, security, compliance, and auditability into architecture designs
- Driving alignment across countries, business domains, and technology teams
- Coaching stakeholders and increasing adoption of data architecture standards
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–8 years of experience in Data Architecture, Information Architecture, or a similar role within a complex enterprise environment
- Strong expertise in data modelling, master data, reference data, and enterprise data governance
- Experience with metadata management, data catalog solutions, and architecture modelling tools
- Understanding of ERP landscapes and business processes such as O2C, P2P, I2M, and R2R
- Experience with SAP is highly preferred; experience with IFS is a plus
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent English language skills
