You act as the strategic business interface for Enterprise IT services for the Netherlands and Rest of World, with explicit ownership of IT Service Continuity Management as a core ITIL practice.
Your primary focus is ensuring that business priorities, risks and continuity requirements are structurally embedded in the design, performance and improvement of Enterprise IT services.
You operate at the intersection of business demand, service ownership and technical IT capabilities by:
- Owning and maturing the IT Service Continuity Management practice within IT Operations & Services, using strong ITIL and technical IT knowledge to define continuity requirements, understand critical service dependencies, align recovery expectations, coordinate continuity planning and testing, and drive improvement follow-up.
- Acting as the trusted IT partner for regional leadership (LMTs, Resident Directors and key stakeholders), translating business strategy, operational risk and user experience into clear IT service priorities and improvement drivers.
- Challenging Service Owners and suppliers on service resilience, recovery capabilities, dependencies and risk exposure, using a strong understanding of infrastructure, applications, integrations and cloud services.
- Collect, structure and prioritise feedback, demand signals, recurring pain points, continuity concerns and improvement requests across Enterprise IT services, and translate these into clear input for Service Owners and IT Operations & Services governance.
- Contribute to merger and acquisition (M&A) activities from an Enterprise IT perspective, including IT due diligence input, identification of service continuity and integration risks, and coordination of post-merger IT integration activities within the Haskoning IT environment.
- Coordinate communication and stakeholder alignment for regional IT changes, incidents, escalations, continuity exercises and service improvements, ensuring business impact is understood and expectations are managed proactively.
- Work closely with the Enterprise IT Business Leads for UK and APAC, Service Owners, architects, security, TCS counterparts and the Manager IT Operations & Services to ensure consistent service experience, transparent performance feedback and continuous improvement across regions.
The Enterprise IT Business Lead NL and RoW is expected to:
- Operate at tactical business-facing level across all Enterprise IT services for the Netherlands and Rest of World;
- Act as designated practice owner for IT Service Continuity Management within IT Operations & Services, ensuring the practice is defined, maintained, tested and continuously improved;
- Connect business continuity expectations with IT service recovery capabilities, including input on business impact, critical service dependencies, recovery priorities and communication needs;
- Support M&A due diligence and post-merger integration by assessing Enterprise IT service, continuity, technical dependency and adoption implications;
- Represent the customer and regional user perspective within IT Operations & Services, without becoming the operational owner of individual technical services;
- Maintain structured relationships with LMTs, resident directors, local representatives and other relevant business stakeholders;
- Escalate widespread, high-impact or continuity-related issues to the relevant Service Owners and Manager IT Operations & Services, using facts, business impact and service data.

As our new Enterprise IT Business Lead NL and RoW, you will become part of the corporate group Digital & Workplace Solutions (DWS) in the Netherlands. DWS provides services to the internal organisation, enabling colleagues to serve their clients in the best possible way.
DWS’s activities are divided across three domains: Enterprise IT & Services, Real Estate & Facility, and Digital & AI. In addition, there is a separate team for information security. The structure of DWS was recently reorganised to allow the three domains to come into their own more effectively. As a result, several new roles have been created, including that of Enterprise IT Business Lead NL and RoW. This role will be part of Enterprise IT & Services. Within this domain, the IT Operations & Services department brings together core IT operations and IT service management capabilities to strengthen service quality, business alignment, service continuity and accountability. The Enterprise IT Business Lead role provides the regional business-facing interface for Enterprise IT services and works closely with Service Owners who are accountable for the performance and lifecycle of specific IT services.
You are a structured, service-oriented IT professional with solid ITIL knowledge and in-depth technical understanding of Enterprise IT services, infrastructure dependencies, integrations, cloud and workplace services, and service recovery principles. You can connect business needs with operational IT delivery and IT service continuity requirements. You can build trust with regional stakeholders, challenge constructively, communicate clearly during incidents and changes, and turn feedback into measurable improvement actions. You understand IT service management well enough to distinguish between user-facing business impact, operational service ownership, supplier delivery, technical dependencies and IT service continuity responsibilities.
