Turn advanced glass and ceramic technologies into high-tech solutions for Medtech, Aerospace and Semicon
At LouwersHanique, we develop and manufacture high-precision components made from technical glass, ceramics and other specialised material combinations. This unique materials expertise enables us to solve complex challenges for customers in high-tech markets such as Semicon, Medtech and Aerospace.
As Projectmanager Research & Development, you will lead complex development projects from first idea and prototype to a stable, reproducible and economically viable production process. These projects often start in an early phase, where material behaviour, process choices and final application still need to be defined.
You report to the R&D Manager and work closely with customers, R&D specialists, application engineers, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and the international IDEX organisation. Your role is to create alignment, structure and progress in projects where technical complexity, stakeholder interests and business priorities come together.
Your role
You lead R&D projects in which new products, processes and technologies are developed based on glass, ceramics and other specialist materials. The emphasis is not only on planning, but especially on stakeholder management, process knowledge and the ability to connect technical content with business impact.
This means:
-
Managing stakeholders across customers, R&D, engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales and IDEX.
-
Leading multiple complex R&D projects from concept and prototype to industrialisation.
-
Translating customer needs, technical challenges and business requirements into clear plans, milestones and decisions.
-
Bringing structure to early-stage development projects where not everything is fixed upfront.
-
Monitoring progress on scope, planning, budget, risks, quality and key deliverables.
-
Ensuring that solutions are technically feasible, reproducible, scalable and economically viable.
What you bring
You are a technically strong project manager with experience in complex R&D, engineering or process development projects within a high-tech environment. You understand that success depends on aligning stakeholders, managing uncertainty and turning technical possibilities into reliable processes.
In addition, you bring:
-
Bachelor’s or master’s level of working and thinking, for example in physics, material science, mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
-
At least 3 years of experience in project management within R&D or process development.
-
Strong stakeholder management skills, both internally and towards customers.
-
Solid process knowledge and experience with industrialisation or transfer from R&D to production.
-
The ability to switch between technical detail and helicopter view, while keeping projects moving.
-
Experience in high-tech environments such as Semicon, Medtech and Aerospace.
-
Good command of English, preferably combined with Dutch and German. You are already based in the Netherlands, ideally in the Eindhoven region or within commuting distance of Eindhoven/Hapert. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
What we offer you
You will join a high-tech organisation where R&D, production and technology development are closely connected. We are growing and investing in technology, automation and capacity expansion.
We offer:
-
A salary between €5,500 and €7,500 gross per month, depending on experience.
-
25 vacation days, 13 ADV days, 8% holiday allowance and profit-sharing in case of good company results.
-
A varied and independent role with significant room for personal input.
-
Development opportunities through training and an online learning platform.
-
On-site company physiotherapy.
-
A down-to-earth working environment with short communication lines and a strong focus on technology, quality and collaboration.
