Job Summary:
The Project Support Engineer (Teamcenter & Power BI Focus) is a critical resource responsible for providing dedicated administrative and technical support across multiple engineering projects. This role involves meticulous data management within Teamcenter and Excel, generating essential data insights through Power BI, and facilitating seamless communication among project stakeholders. The Project Support Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring data accuracy, supporting procurement processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of complex engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Teamcenter and Data Management:

Perform regular updates of Teamcenter attributes to ensure the accuracy and currency of the Power BI equipment list and other critical project data.

Upload and integrate datasets provided by suppliers into Teamcenter.

Maintain and update Excel equipment lists, ensuring synchronization with data stored in Teamcenter.

Manage and update the 'Scope' Environment within Teamcenter to reflect the latest project information.

Provide Teamcenter information and FeadIDs to procurement for accurate purchase order generation.

Address and resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity across Teamcenter, Power BI, and Excel.

Adapt to and implement new administrative ways of working within Teamcenter (e.g., integrating S&C within LWM for BN833).

Power BI Reporting and Analysis:

Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

Develop, update, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on data extracted from Teamcenter and other sources.

Provide data overviews and Excel sheets as requested by stakeholders to monitor project equipment and progress.

Identify opportunities to improve existing Power BI reports and develop new ones to enhance data visibility and support decision-making.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries from engineering, specialists, procurement, and other project stakeholders.

Communicate FeadIDs and other essential information effectively to procurement teams.

Actively participate in project meetings to gain a thorough understanding of project progress, identify potential issues, and gather information for reporting.

Facilitate clear and concise communication between various departments to ensure alignment on project status and data requirements.
