Whether you've built your foundation at a top-tier strategy consultancy or have combined consulting with in-house experience, this role offers the ideal next step to fast-track your path toward executive leadership. Based in Amsterdam and reporting directly to the Managing Director of the Netherlands, you will play a central role in a successful, fast-growing organization — with significant exposure and scope, and a clear plan to evolve into a key leadership position within 12 months.
You’ll work shoulder-closely with senior leaders across the country, cluster, and Group level - owning critical projects, driving transformation, and helping to shape the strategic future of the business. This is not a behind-the-scenes position; it’s a front-row seat to business leadership, with clear progression toward leadership and Management team roles. The path is proven – nearly 90% of our previous Business Planning & Transformation Leads (formerly named Chief-of-Staff) were promoted within two years, many stepping into leadership roles within a year.

The Business Planning & Transformation Lead will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Managing Director and the Management Team, with strong exposure to the full commercial agenda, including sales strategy, performance, and go-to-market topics. This is a highly cross-functional role with visibility across all major initiatives at Verisure Netherlands while also owning and driving key transformational projects from concept to execution. The role will also foster collaboration between the country, other countries and the Group to drive consistent performance and improvement. you will play a central role in a successful, fast-growing organization — with significant exposure and scope, and a clear plan to evolve into a key leadership position within 12 months.

Ownership of critical projects - take full responsibility for several high-impact, end-to-end projects, including commercial projects such as:

Further defining and evolving sales strategy & go-to-market: define segment-specific GTM models, optimize methodologies across channels, ensure alignment between offering, value-based pricing and market needs, and lead strategic partnerships and growth initiatives.

Continue developingthe sales organization: design and evolve the operating model, scale recruitment and capabilities, and lead end-to-end rollout of high-impact strategic projects.

Own performance, incentives & growth engines: steer incentives, performance management, analytics and business tools, while driving disciplined pricing and discount governance.

Right hand to Managing Director
- Act as the right-hand to the Managing Director, expanding their reach by supporting the definition and execution of strategic initiatives in the Netherlands, including key commercial and sales strategy decisions as well as key value-creation projects.

Collaborate with the MD on ad hoc, high-priority issues that require deep dive analysis and high attention.

Transversal and multidisciplinary business enabler
- Work closely with the entire Management Team on strategic and transversal projects impacting including Marketing and Lead Generation, Commercial channels including field sales, sales structure creation, alliances, Portfolio, Operations.

Proven top performer with a strong track record in a leading strategy consulting firm, demonstrating exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or analytical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or similar) from a leading academic institution.

Given the ambition for this role to develop into a senior leadership position in the near term, candidates would greatly benefit from combining strategic thinking with hands-on commercial experience in an in-house role. This could include exposure to lead generation, commercial excellence, sales effectiveness, go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, or business transformation initiatives within fast-paced B2C or B2B2C environments.
