As a Developer, you'll be part of a product development team consisting of five developers, a DevOps engineer, a test engineer/scrum master, a UX designer, and a product owner.
In this role, you'll play a crucial role in developing the Censo platform. Our platform processes large amounts of data, which we translate into relevant insights into our clients' energy management. By contributing to this process, you'll make a meaningful impact on a greener future.
As a Developer, you'll develop high-quality software that optimally meets the sustainability needs of Censo clients. With your technical expertise and proactiveness, you know how to make maximum use of modern tools such as AI and apply this in your daily work.
In your role as Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing the platform: You contribute to architecture choices. You will collaborate with the team of .NET developers to design, develop, test, and implement a high-quality, scalable, and maintainable platform for the energy transition.
- Adoption of modern tooling: You maximize the capabilities of new technology such as AI so you can create maximum value for Censo customers.
- Quality assurance: You will collaborate with teammembers to ensure code quality by conducting code reviews and implementing software development best practices.
- Result Ownership: You are actively involved in the development, contributing ideas and helping to refine requirements so that the end result aligns with the customer's needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: You work closely with other teams within Censo to realize sustainable solutions. Clear communication is key.
- Knowledge Sharing: You actively share your knowledge with teammembers, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the development team.
- Thinking ahead: You think along about scalability, maintenance, and innovation.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a .NET developer or a similar role.
- You have demonstrable experience in developing software in an AI-first manner, and are familiar with this way of developing software.
- You have proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing data-driven applications and implementing APIs.
- You have experience with most of the following: Claude code, .NET, C#, Azure, Entityframework, Rest, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Atlassian, Git, Docker, Solid development, Design patterns, Domain Driven Design, Agile/Scrum, Kubernetes.
- You value ownership of your work, from design to implementation in a production environment.
- You have an affinity for sustainability and identify with our mission.
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. IT, engineering, software development).
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve complex technical problems and devise practical solutions, with a focus of reaching the desired end result.
- You enjoy working in a team and foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- You speak and write English well; understanding Dutch is a plus.
