In this role, you will be responsible for the entire private label product lifecycle from customer briefings and product development to successful market launches and ongoing portfolio growth. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver innovative, high-quality, and profitable solutions.
What Will You Do?
As a Project Manager Private Label, you will be the key link between customers, the market, and the organization. You will translate customer needs into successful product concepts and ensure their efficient and effective implementation.
Your Responsibilities

Develop and execute the private label strategy for key customers and markets.

Manage and further expand the private label product portfolio.

Identify growth opportunities within existing and new customers, categories, and product concepts.

Lead new product development projects and product improvements from concept to launch.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, R&D, Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain.

Translate customer briefs into clear commercial and technical specifications.

Develop business cases, cost calculations, and pricing strategies.

Monitor margins, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Drive continuous improvements in quality, cost optimization, and product profitability.

Manage product changes, specification updates, and product lifecycle activities.
What Do You Bring?
You are an entrepreneurial professional with a strong customer focus while maintaining a sharp eye for profitability, processes, and quality.
In addition, you have:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, Commercial Economics, or a related field.

Several years of experience in private label, product management, category management, or a commercial role.

Experience with product development and market launches.

Affinity with manufacturing, supply chain, or FMCG environments.

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in Dutch and English

An analytical, results-driven mindset.
What Do We Offer?
When you join McCain Appetizers Europe, you are joining for the long term. Strong performance can lead to a permanent contract, and in addition, we offer:

A competitive salary based on a 40-hour workweek, starting from €4.070,- gross per month, depending on your experience and educational background.

An 8% holiday allowance.

25 vacation days plus 15 ADV days (additional paid time-off days) on a full-time basis.

A year-end bonus of 3%.

Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre, up to a maximum of 100 km per day.

An initial one-year contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract at McCain upon mutual satisfaction.
