We are looking for a driven R&D Engineer to strengthen our team. As an R&D Engineer, you are responsible for the development of connectors and customer-specific connectivity solutions. You work closely with fellow engineers and production departments, and are involved in all aspects of the development process, from design and material selection to prototyping, process development and testing. A significant part of your work focuses on developing production processes. You also provide support on quality-related matters.
You are positioned at the heart of the organization. Internally, you collaborate with R&D teams, sales and production engineers across all our global locations. Externally, you work alongside suppliers and engineering teams at our customers.
The projects you work on are strongly technical and process-oriented in nature. Think of developing new materials in response to changing regulations, setting up validation and test programs, or industrializing components currently produced externally. Throughout, you maintain a clear overview of the full trajectory: from material selection and trial runs to validation, production and final application at the customer.
You are not only involved on a technical level, but also take on a coordinating role within projects. You align with various international teams, monitor the progress of test trajectories and ensure the right steps are taken at the right time. You bring others along naturally, even when interests or priorities diverge.
