- Ability to take instruction and independently execute on the directives.

The Role
World Wide Technology EMEA NL has a very exciting opportunity, as a Configuration Technician II, to join our talented and friendly EIC team based in Schiphol area, Netherlands.
Configuration Technician II performs production level logical configurations and testing, follow detailed work instructions provide by Engineering teams, communicates with multiple members of the project team within the company, perform troubleshooting of multiple device types to isolate issues resulting from failing hardware or software, open and facilitate supplier level cases when needed, communicates with multiple members of the project team and also with customers.
Role responsibilities & duties:
- Troubleshooting of multiple vendor networking, wireless, telecom and collaboration devices.
- Troubleshooting of equipment such as core network storage and server technologies, or general telecommunication product.
- Facilitate opening and resolution of supplier cases and work directly with their engineers
- Complete all required paperwork required for reverse logistics, non-conformance and supplier trouble cases
- Lead troubleshooting process for defective devices, logical issues, or systematic errors on a wide range of technologies.
- Communicate effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Ensures compliance with established codes, regulations, and standards.
- Logical work to load OS (Operating system), loading license, and update firmware per customer requirements.
- Configure, upgrade, and test networking and telecom equipment (routers, switches, servers, wireless, radio access network items based on program need)
- Understanding of installation and configuration instructions with various platforms of hardware and ensures accurate information capture
- Complete physical audit of equipment and accessories
- Confirm hardware is functional
