About the Role
As Van de Velde Packaging Group continues its transformation journey, the HR Business Partner Netherlands will play a pivotal role in supporting business leaders and employees across multiple locations throughout the country.
The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to leadership while remaining close to the operational realities of the business. The role is responsible for translating Group HR strategy into practical local execution, driving organizational effectiveness, supporting change initiatives, developing leadership capabilities, and fostering an engaged, high-performing workforce.
Working across multiple sites, the HR Business Partner will be a key change agent during the Group's ongoing transformation and harmonization efforts, ensuring consistency in people practices whilst balancing local business needs.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do

Partner with managers and leaders across our Dutch sites on all people-related matters.
- Drive employee engagement, performance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Support and coach managers through change, growth, and transformation.
- Lead and implement HR initiatives and Group-wide projects locally.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations and Dutch employment legislation.
- Support recruitment efforts and workforce planning.
- Challenge the status quo and continuously improve HR processes and practices.
Your Profile
What We're Looking For

Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 8 years of HR Business Partner experience in a multi-site, operational, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch labor law and employee relations.
- Experience supporting organizational change and transformation.
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution.
- Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly between sites across the Netherlands.
