Your mission: Elevate our SaaS platform by modernizing, automating, and scaling our 100% cloud-based AWS infrastructure to ensure maximum security, performance, and resilience.
As our Senior Cloud Engineer, you won't just keep the lights on, you will take complete ownership of our AWS cloud environment and play a pivotal role in fostering a mature DevOps culture across our engineering organization.
What you will be doing:
Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize our AWS infrastructure with a sharp focus on scalability, maintainability, and security.
System Administration & Monitoring: Manage, monitor, and scale Windows, SQL Server, Linux servers, and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters to guarantee high availability.
Key Infrastructure Projects: Lead technical infrastructure initiatives (architecture design, testing, monitoring, security) and partner with product engineering teams on complex architecture needs.
DevOps Strategy: Collaborate closely with our Platform Team to evaluate, iterate, and execute strategies that drive DevOps best practices organization-wide.
What success looks like: You will operate with high autonomy and direct impact. From IaC pipelines to EKS cluster optimization, your technical ownership directly influences how fast and reliably our SaaS platform evolves.
You are an analytical, inventive, and forward-thinking engineer who takes pride in system resilience and clean architecture. You thrive in an environment with high autonomy and freedom, matching it with a strong sense of personal accountability.
What we expect:
5+ years of hands-on experience managing production environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Deep expertise in AWS core services: Networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups), EC2/Auto Scaling, fine-tuning S3 storage tiers, and RDS (backup/restore, patching, performance tuning).
Solid hands-on production experience with Kubernetes (EKS configuration & maintenance), Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
Proven experience setting up, running, and maintaining Windows Servers within a public cloud environment.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) and setting up CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
Scripting skills for deployment, monitoring, and application management (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Bonus points:
Hands-on production experience with CloudFront/CDN, ElastiCache, Lambda, or SQS/SNS.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads (e.g., general MLOps principles, vector databases, or data pipelines) and leveraging AI-driven development tools to optimize workflows.
