For our location in Haarlem and the Global IT Business Solutions team, we are looking for a Project Manager Business Integrations.
Role Purpose
The Project Manager Business Integrations is responsible for the successful delivery of customer, vendor, and strategic business integration initiatives across the Hillebrand Gori and DHL Beverage, Wine & Spirits network.
The role owns the complete implementation lifecycle of integration projects, transforming approved business opportunities and business cases into operational solutions that create measurable value for customers, vendors, and internal business teams.
Working closely with Business Integration Consultants, Product Owners, Architects, Development Teams, Sales, Operations, and customer stakeholders, the Business Integration Project Manager ensures that integration initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with agreed business objectives.
The role serves as the primary coordinator between business and technology teams, ensuring smooth execution from project initiation through implementation, go-live, stabilization, and transition to support.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL and Hillebrand Gori?
Integration Project Leadership
- Lead customer and vendor integration projects from initiation through successful go-live.
- Own project scope, timeline, governance, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Translate approved business cases into executable project plans.
- Ensure clear alignment between customer expectations, business requirements, technical delivery, and implementation planning.
- Drive project execution while maintaining focus on business value realization.
Project Planning & Delivery Management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate activities across business, operational, and technical teams.
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables, including:
- Business requirements
- Process documentation
- Solution design
- Mapping specifications
- Testing plans
- Implementation procedures
- Support handover documentation
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues and risks.
Customer & Vendor Implementation Management
- Act as primary project contact for customers and vendors during implementation.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, status reviews, and steering discussions.
- Manage expectations, scope changes, and project communications.
- Ensure customer and vendor participation during design, testing, training, and deployment phases.
- Maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Business Requirements & Solution Coordination
- Collaborate with Business Integration Consultants and Solution Architects to validate project requirements.
- Ensure business objectives are clearly translated into implementation activities.
- Coordinate solution design reviews with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support definition of integration mappings, business rules, process changes, and operational procedures.
- Ensure solution designs remain aligned with approved scope and business goals.
Cross-Functional Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate delivery activities across:
- Development teams
- Product Owners
- Solution Architects
- Infrastructure teams
- Customer IT teams
- Operational business teams
- Vendors and third parties
- Facilitate issue resolution across multiple functions and regions.
- Manage project dependencies and escalation paths.
Testing, Deployment & Go-Live Management
- Coordinate integration testing, user acceptance testing, and end-to-end validation activities.
- Ensure readiness of operational procedures and support processes before deployment.
- Lead implementation planning and cutover activities.
- Monitor project performance during go-live and stabilization periods.
- Ensure successful transition from implementation to operational ownership.
Portfolio & Governance Support
- Provide visibility of project status, risks, resource requirements, and delivery progress.
- Support prioritization and governance discussions within the integration portfolio.
- Maintain adherence to project management standards and methodologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Capture lessons learned from completed implementations.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and implementation quality.
- Promote reuse of standard integration patterns, project templates, and implementation approaches.
- Contribute to standardization of customer and vendor onboarding processes.

Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing complex business or technology projects in international environments.
- Experience in customer-facing implementation, onboarding, integration, or transformation initiatives.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct line management responsibility.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, stakeholder management, and implementation planning.
- Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, supply chain, or comparable industries preferred.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Integration & Business Knowledge
Working knowledge of:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
