Genmab is seeking a Senior Research Associate to join our dynamic Target Discovery team. You will be part of the Discovery department working in the Target Discovery team, focusing on oncology. Target Discovery works to find, validate, and understand new antibody drug targets. As a Senior Research Associate, you will use state-of-the art technology, set up innovative new systems, and generate data to find these new targets. You will be at the foundation of the development of new drugs that address high unmet need diseases. In addition to the Target Discovery team, you will work closely with other research teams, (antibody) technology teams and data science teams in a highly multidisciplinary way.
This is a hands-on, lab-based temporary position for 9 months, covering a colleague’s leave of absence. While an extension is not currently anticipated, any continuation beyond the initial 9-month period would depend on the department’s needs.

Using your up-to-date knowledge of and experience with assays used in cell biology, oncology, and immunology, you are responsible for the set-up and accurate execution of a broad set of in vitro assays, target screens, and target validation experiments.
You work independently, document and process the test results, draw conclusions, and report these to the team.
You have extensive experience with cell line and primary cell culture, flow cytometry, microscopy, various functional cellular assays (cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, etc.).
You have hands-on experience with cell and molecular biology techniques like DNA/RNA extraction, Western Blotting, ELISA, gene-editing technologies, cell transfection and transduction, immunostaining. You are comfortable with medium-/high-throughput techniques.
You are enthusiastic, goal-oriented, efficient, and accurate, and you enjoy working in a team and as a team.

The proposed gross annual/monthly base salary range for this position, in the primary location, based on a full time schedule is:
EUR44.676,00-67.014,00

The final salary offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
