MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large-scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. The company is characterized by a 'can-do' mentality, in which responsibilities lie low in the organization and 'accountability for results' is a natural consequence. At the same time, the focus is on making each other successful and supporting each other, where necessary.

Context

Note: This is a 7-month short-term role.

As scrum master for the team, lead the ADM and scrum rituals, with strong focus on evaluation and continuous improvement (addressing impediments). Relentless and pro-active steering for continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

- Driving the cooperation between team members and the cooperation with other teams to a next level: make it a truly High Performing Team.

Removing impediments, for which many other teams need to be involved.

Maintain deal (handshake) with product owner, function cluster architect and group leader on plan.

Coach team members.

Address and if necessary escalate bottlenecks.

What You Bring to the Table

BSc or MSc in a technical field, e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, mechanics, chemistry, or electronics.

Personal Skills:

Team player.

Independent way of working in our dynamic explorative environment.

Active listening, giving feedback.

Robust personality with coaching abilities.

Able to initiate, influence, stir.

Strong analytical view combined with pragmatic attitude (flexibility) .

Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and good knowledge of English.

Creative, trying out new approaches to find out what is really hindering people to perform at best and improve towards strong ownership and high-performance team.

Learner and interested in a complex domain and engineering. It is key to have good interest in the solutions and technology and get a good understanding of what engineers are doing in their daily job.
