Job Summary
Deliver on CRE's Purpose to Delight the Customer through the four Keys: Safety, Courtesy, Community, and Efficiency.
At a single site (Hub, Club or Ramp), the Senior Host oversees hospitality services at high profile CRE sites, ensuring there's a strong culture of fun, community and connection. The Senior Host is an elevated hospitality role providing oversight of a dedicated on-site amenity such as a cafeteria or conference space including on-site food provision vendors, event coordination and creating office communications, responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience that delights all visitors and employees.

As a “face" of the CRE org, you will create a positive vibe, professionally interact with site leadership, EAs, WRE, EECNS, Equinix customers and employees for event planning and execution as well as site communications.
You will create a sense of community in the workplace through planning and delivery of events and activities that give our customers an exceptional workplace experience.
You will get to know your customers well so you can anticipate their needs before they arise and can enhance and personalize their experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee multiple sites or a Hub site to ensure they meet Operational Excellence standards and customer needs
Accountable for smooth running of multiple locations, ensuring consistency in delivery across offices and parking areas (if applicable)
Ensure daily floor walkthroughs are conducted, checking that all sites meet Operational Excellence standards and fulfills the needs of customers and visitors
If the sole CRE representative on-site, cover the Welcome Desk during business hours, providing a welcoming experience for customers and guests
Be the on-site point of contact, easily located in the reception area throughout most of the day
Support new hires in particular, helping them settle in with support and guidance on CRE services and a warm hand-off to other teams
Plan and deliver CRE Events that create a fun and engaging vibe and a sense of community
Support hospitality moments around the office in line with CRE's One-Stop-Shop policy and guidance
Actively promote office events ensuring they are correctly listed and published on the Office Raven Calendar tool and promoted on site through posters and on Viva Engage
Celebrate and enhance the office community by sharing images of events and activities on the Viva Engage group CRE Event photo library
Take accountability for overall security and safety of multiple sites
Know and be able to implement emergency response plans and be an emergency point of contact out of hours
Promptly address customer tickets and answer customer and guest questions related to the building
Support the broader Corporate Real Estate team's objectives with program support and execution
Act as the primary point of contact, providing support, knowledge, care and fun
Create a sense of community and connection in the office
Manage mail, deliveries and couriers where applicable
Support office moves, openings, closures, and change projects
Oversee vendor, contractor and landlord relationships
Collaborate with site leaders, executive assistants, employee groups and others for on-site events, site projects, changes or moves
Advocate for CRE and its services, ensuring the business understands the value provided
Oversee hospitality services, food service operations and vendor relationships
Develop and execute internal office communications
Coordinate office-wide events and meetings
Own onsite event planning and execution
Manage event vendors, procurement processes and budgets
Resolve customer complaints through neutral fact-based investigation and escalate as appropriate
Collaborate with business partners to support site activities, projects and inclusive events
Qualifications
College/University graduate with a four-year degree or equivalent customer/hospitality work experience required
Minimum 7 years experience in relevant field
Must have strong verbal and written English language and communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal and multitasking skills
Proven experience in project management and business operations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in hospitality management, event planning, business administration, facilities management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Proven experience in operation of a dedicated on-site amenity such as a cafeteria or conference space, office management, hospitality, and event coordination
Excellent verbal and written English and communication skills
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in office productivity tools and software for data analysis and reporting
Prior customer service or sales experience is essential
Must have experience of budget management, budget cycle and spend/forecast
5+ years experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Management preferred
