Job Summary

We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong Golang and AWS expertise who is passionate about building scalable cloud-native systems, driving engineering excellence, and helping shape the technical direction of modern platforms used at enterprise scale.

Job Description

What you'll do

Develop and deliver excellent quality software at high scale
Participate in the full software lifecycle, including support and continuous integration
Contribute to the technical direction of the team
Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers on the team
Share and generate new ideas, provide constructive and useful feedback to peers
Work with internal Sky teams, external vendors and colleagues in Comcast in the US

What you'll have

Essential

Commercial experience with Golang
Experience building and supporting production software systems
Experience with code review, automated testing, debugging and continuous integration
Proven ability to write maintainable, performant and well-structured code
Experience working with and continuously improving CI/CD in an agile team
Good communication skills and willingness to learn across the stack

Desirable

Experience with TypeScript
Experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architectures
Experience with containers, Kubernetes or infrastructure as code
Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
Experience working with observability and operational tooling
Experience with solution design
