This position is crucial for our strategy to stabilize and expand our team's capabilities. Alongside this lead role, we intend to collaborate with external suppliers on a project basis. As the Lead Engineer, you will not only promote technical excellence but also oversee supplier relationships—defining work packages, setting collaboration standards, and evaluating supplier performance.
You will be integrated into a scrum team comprising three full-time engineers and work closely with a part-time architect, product owner, scrum master, and cloud engineer. Your role will be instrumental in solution design, integration development, and providing technical leadership.
- Drive the creation of strong, secure, and efficient integrations on Azure.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to collect and refine requirements.
- Collaborate with architects to challenge and co-develop solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers on best practices and software hygiene.
- Oversee external suppliers: outline work packages, uphold collaboration standards, and ensure delivery quality.
- Play a key role in advancing our DevSecOps practices and architecture in line with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
- Assist in the assessment and deployment of our upcoming portal platform.
