We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer who can help build and maintain our state-of-the-art cloud SaaS environment where multiple teams and partners can work together to deliver the best experience for our customers. You will join a team of highly skilled engineers to successfully build and operate our next generation CIAM Cloud offering.
Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
Support and troubleshoot all applications to ensure our cloud services are optimized for performance and reliability.
Implement Automation and pipeline codes in a timely fashion and with high quality, consistent with standards for the Group.
Write infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm charts) and review code from colleagues with valuable feedback for multiple cloud services (AWS & GCP).
Implement AI concepts and tools for daily operational work. Improve productivity with AI.
Test and Deploy software/applications updates, new features and hotfixes using various CI/CD tools like (Helm charts, Ansible, GitLab pipelines, terraforms) across multiple cloud services AWS & GCP.
Analyze product requirements and identify the best solution, technology, and tools.
Forecast, inform risk/concern on task, team, or project level, and propose mitigation plans.
Provide technical solutions, support, and perform several activities for a new or customized database of products/components used in the project which includes but is not limited to database design, installation, upgrade, migration, backup, recovery, failover, HA, hardening, monitoring, etc.
Orchestrate and optimize the database activities of several databases, schemas, and components in one project or solution.
Manage and improve system/network configuration and monitoring by using pipelines.
Strategize and plan for data migration and develop data migration scripts if required by the project.
Support, investigate and propose solutions/workarounds for production issues related to the databases.
Provide documentation as appropriate including design documentation, comments in code, and end-user documentation.
Provide input to improve the scalability and reliability of infrastructure to our Automation Architects.
Participate in the on-call schedule & Provide L2/L3 Support to our Services desk and R&D teams.
Document all build and run procedures when implementing new automation technologies.
Perform knowledge sharing with colleagues (training sessions, confluence documentation, Slack, etc)
Socialize designs with teams and integrate suggestions and changes as appropriate.
Act with agility by implementing security best practices and by being cost conscious.
3+ years’ experience in deploying and supporting web-based applications.
Previous work experiences with DevOps and SRE methodologies.
3+ years must have experience with orchestration and Automations tools (Helm charts, Ansible, Terraforms, Yaml, Python,Json) and Cloud Services.
Experiences with AI (Artificial Intelligence) and familiar with AI related tools and terminology.
Have worked with Github/Gitlab and understand the pros and cons to CI/CD.
Understanding of operational concepts like change management, on call rotations, escalations, uptime, etc.
Experience in managing production systems on a very large scale.
3+ years’ must have extensive experience working with Kubernetes Orchestration.
Experience working with DB’s: MySQL, Postgres, Mongo, Elastic Cloud, etc.
5+ years’ experience with cloud and server architecture and with REST APIs, microservices development and deployment.
Adhere to security best practices from design to implementation and operations.
Experience with PaaS technologies (K8s, Open Shift, etc.).
Experience with building pipelines for Infrastructure as a code (IaC) using Terraforms.
Experiences with scripting (Bash, Python).
3+ years` must have experience on AWS or GCP cloud services.
Ability to work in geographically distributed international company.
Strong analytical skills and eager to learn new technologies.
Excellent communication skills across multiple mediums.
Able to work and collaborate with different stakeholders and teams.
