Amaris Consulting is seeking an Electronics Test Engineer Consultant to join our engineering team and support innovative technology projects across different industries. In this role, you will apply your expertise in electronics validation, test automation, and verification processes to help clients deliver high-quality products from concept through production.
As a consultant, you will work on varied assignments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust test solutions, improve validation strategies, and solve complex engineering challenges.
Your Mission
You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective test solutions for electronic systems and embedded products. Your focus will be on improving product quality, increasing test efficiency, and ensuring that technical requirements are successfully validated.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute verification and validation strategies for electronic products and systems.
Create test plans, test specifications, and structured test procedures based on product requirements.
Perform hardware and software testing, analyze results, and identify potential improvements.
Investigate failures, document issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to drive solutions.
Develop automated test solutions to improve testing speed, accuracy, and repeatability.
Maintain and enhance test environments, measurement setups, and testing frameworks.
Support the design and realization of custom test fixtures and prototypes.
Create technical documentation, including test reports and validation summaries.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and engineering processes.
Share technical knowledge and support innovation within project teams.
Your Expertise
You have a strong background in electronics testing and product verification, with experience in a development environment.
Your profile includes:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Several years of experience in electronics validation, verification, or test engineering.
Strong understanding of electronic hardware and embedded software systems.
Experience with test design, execution, troubleshooting, and reporting.
Knowledge of software testing principles and structured test methodologies.
Experience with automated testing and scripting (Python or similar programming languages).
Familiarity with laboratory equipment, measurement techniques, and test system development.
Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
