We’ve partnered with Samako Cleaning, a fast-scaling DTC brand in the home care space, now looking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Manager to own and optimise its end-to-end supply chain.

The Role
The Supply Chain Manager will take full ownership of Samako’s end-to-end supply chain, spanning demand forecasting, procurement, inventory planning, logistics and supplier management.
This is much more than a support role.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring products are available at the right time, in the right place and at the right cost. You’ll proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, improve systems and build strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouse partners.
This is a hands-on build + scale opportunity for someone who wants genuine ownership and the opportunity to create a world-class supply chain operation.
Responsibilities
Own demand forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing and replenishment across all sales channels
Build rolling 3-, 6- and 12-month forecasts using sales history, seasonality, marketing activity, product launches and commercial targets
Maintain healthy stock levels across Bol.com, Amazon, Shopify and wholesale channels
Plan replenishments and manage purchasing cycles to ensure timely procurement and delivery
Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process, aligning demand, purchasing, inventory, marketing and finance
Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, 3PLs and warehouse partners
Build a resilient supplier and logistics network through contingency planning and backup partners
Optimise production, inventory and logistics to improve availability while controlling costs
Support international expansion, additional 3PLs, new sales channels and growing B2B operations
Ensure compliance with European import/export regulations, customs requirements and HS codes
Track supply chain KPIs and take corrective action when risks, delays or inefficiencies arise
Build scalable, data-driven systems and automate processes wherever possible
Document processes and continuously improve workflows as the business grows
Day to Day
Reviewing forecasts, inventory levels and replenishment requirements across every channel
Coordinating purchase orders and deliveries with international suppliers and logistics partners
Identifying potential stockouts, overstocks, delays and cost inefficiencies before they become problems
Aligning purchasing and inventory plans with marketing campaigns and product launches
Leading the monthly S&OP process across operations, marketing and finance
Monitoring supply chain performance and reporting actionable insights to the COO and CEO
Improving systems, processes and contingency plans to support continued international growth
Requirements
5+ years of experience across supply chain management, logistics or procurement
At least 3 years of experience within DTC eCommerce
Strong demand forecasting, inventory planning and analytical capabilities
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with inventory planning tools is advantageous
Experience managing international suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders and warehouse partners
Strong knowledge of international logistics, customs procedures and import/export regulations
Familiarity with Amazon FBA and Shopify fulfilment processes
Proven ability to design and implement scalable supply chain systems
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of outcomes
