5+ years of overall experience in software development

Strong experience with Golang development.

Hands-on expertise with AWS services, including serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, and cloud-native architectures.

Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).

Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.

Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools.

Experience designing scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud solutions.

Experience with solution architecture and technical design.
What You'll Do

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions using Golang and AWS cloud services.

Build and support cloud-native applications and microservices that operate at scale in a production environment.

Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous integration.

Drive technical excellence and best practices around Go development, cloud architecture, and CI/CD automation.

Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with internal Sky teams, Comcast engineering teams in the US, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Continuously improve system reliability, performance, observability, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Bring

Strong commercial experience developing software with Golang (Go) or another modern programming language, with a desire to specialize in Go.

Hands-on experience building, deploying, and supporting production-grade applications on AWS.

Experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.

Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and continuous integration.

Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, performant, and well-structured code.

Experience improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines within Agile teams.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
