Summary

Working closely with our Head Chef and café team, you'll help bring our seasonal menu to life while delivering thoughtful, nourishing food that reflects the values of Stretch & Fold. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys cooking with fresh ingredients, takes pride in consistency and presentation, and thrives in a collaborative kitchen environment.

Whether you're preparing brunch service, contributing new ideas to the menu, or ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen beautifully presented, you'll play an important part in creating the guest experience we strive for every day.

What you'll actually do:

Prepare and cook dishes from our seasonal café menu to a consistently high standard
Work alongside the Head Chef and management team to help develop seasonal menus and introduce new dishes
Ensure every dish is presented beautifully and reflects the quality of the Stretch & Fold brand
Maintain an organised, efficient, and positive kitchen environment throughout service
Follow food safety and hygiene standards while keeping the kitchen clean and well organised
Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements with the Head Chef and café management
Work closely with the front-of-house team to accommodate dietary requirements, special requests, and guest feedback
Communicate openly with the management team about kitchen operations and opportunities for improvement
Support the wider kitchen and café team wherever needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Have previous experience working in a professional kitchen
