Role Overview
The New Project Introduction (NPI) Leader is accountable for the successful introduction of new Grooming & Beauty products from development into volume production and market launch. The role orchestrates cross-functional teams across R&D, Product Industrialization, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, and Manufacturing to ensure projects are delivered On-Time, In-Full, within budget, and with the required quality and consumer experience. The NPI Leader drives the industrialization strategy and execution for major innovation programs, ensuring robust product and process readiness while managing complexity across global development and manufacturing locations.
Responsibilities
- As Director Grooming & Beauty Product Industrialization you establish strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to influence product design decisions, accelerate time-to-market, manage design changes, and ensure manufacturing capability, quality, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved throughout the product lifecycle.
- You direct equipment development and process enhancement initiatives, develop long-term manufacturing engineering, platforming and technology strategies, co-defines sourcing strategies, and provide technical leadership on highly complex manufacturing processes and industrialization challenges.
- You ensure compliance with established business processes and manufacturing standards while developing, monitoring, and managing the annual operating and capital budgets to effectively support engineering operations, strategic initiatives, capability building, and future manufacturing growth.
- Operate as a senior leader within Grooming & Beauty.
- Provide strategic direction beyond individual projects.
- Influence organizational priorities.
- Build strong partnerships across R&D and ISC.
- Coach and develop project leaders and industrialization engineers.
- Create a culture of accountability, transparency, and execution excellence.
You are a part of the PH ISC PIE/LCM Leader ship team. As such recognized as a trusted leader who can successfully navigate complexity, align diverse stakeholders, and consistently deliver breakthrough product launches for Grooming & Beauty. Typical team size: 10+ project and industrialization professionals across various factories with accountability for multiple concurrent NPI programs and launch portfolios.

The ideal candidate combines deep industrialization expertise with strong business leadership. They are capable of translating innovation into commercially successful products while balancing speed, quality, cost, and operational robustness.
- MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in product development, industrialization, operations, or project management.
- Proven track record leading large-scale NPI programs from concept through launch.
- Experience operating in a global matrix organization.
- Experience with consumer products, medical devices, or regulated industries preferred
- You possess strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- You have a solid understanding of business processes, Design for Six Sigma, and operational excellence (including Lean Manufacturing and problem solving).
- You are skilled in design for manufacturing, assembly, and testability.
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, take ownership of decisions and actions, and are able to drive root cause investigations.
Compensation & Benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 93,049.00 –€ 155,081.00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for 6% bonus/incentive, with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
