The role
Our Software Development team works on several products:
- Motorsports (Speedhive)
- Active Sports (Sporthive)
- New application & platform development
As a Java Software Developer, you will become part of a new team that is working on greenfield projects within the MYLAPS motorizes sports business.
What You'll Do
Together with your team, you will build a new platform where racers analyze their racing performance. This all in real time from car racing and motorcycle racing to RC racing and many other disciplines: your work supports motorsport at every level.
In this multidisciplinary team you will find colleagues with specializations in IOS, Android and Web development, as well as a QA Engineer working closely together with our Product Owner.
Since we like to understand what our software means to racers, this position offers the chance to visit small and large scale sporting events to fully understand the accuracy and meaning of our software.
What You Bring
5+ years of Software Development experience with Java and preferably Springboot.
Experience in a start-up / new product development environment where you need to build new software products from scratch
The ability to think about architecture & implement new technologies
Front-end Development experience in Vue.js is seen as a plus.
Strong (technical) communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
Passion for technology and sport.
Cloud experience, preferably Azure, is a bonus.
