Samenvatting
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Medewerker bediening horeca (Hospitality Service Employee) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a lively and inviting environment for all visitors.

Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Ensure food safety standards are met during food handling, serving, and preparation processes
Assist in setting up dining areas, clearing tables, and maintaining a tidy environment throughout service hours

Kwalificaties

Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
Strong customer service skills with a welcoming personality
Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
Experience in food handling, food safety procedures, and restaurant operations
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
Basic math skills for cash handling and billing processes
Familiarity with hospitality standards such as OpenTable or Food industry best practices is a plus
Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is beneficial but not required
A positive attitude, team spirit, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
