At Atos, we are looking for a Java Application Developer to join a collaborative DevOps team working on the further development and modernization of applications built with Java technologies.
In this role, you will contribute to innovative solutions on one of our clients' cloud platforms, working closely with Product Owners, architects, and fellow DevOps professionals. You will have the opportunity to combine software development, automation, and collaboration while helping deliver high-quality solutions that create real business value.
As a Java Application Developer, you will:
- Contribute to the further development and modernization of Java-based applications.
- Develop high-quality code and support application integration activities.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful solutions.
- Help automate DevOps processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work alongside other DevOps teams to share knowledge and deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Contribute to Agile ways of working and support a culture of collaboration and innovation.
You will become part of a collaborative DevOps team focused on modernizing applications and supporting our clients on their cloud transformation journey.

This is a hybrid role, centrally located in the Netherlands, with 1 to 2 days per week on-site with the client.
We are looking for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with collaboration and continuous learning.
You bring at least 4 years of experience with technologies such as:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- Kubernetes
- OpenShift
- API Integration
- Front-end technologies (for example Angular or React)
- Excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English
- Scrum/Agile
- DevOps
- CI/CD
- Automated testing
You are also interested in continuing to grow your skills and expanding your knowledge, for instance in Kotlin and/or Quarkus.
