Wie zijn wij?
Nexmosphere ontwikkelt en produceert sensoren en controllers waarmee bedrijven interactieve ervaringen creëren in onder andere winkels, musea, showrooms en publieke ruimtes.
Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een productvideo die automatisch start wanneer iemand een sneaker van het schap pakt, een scherm dat reageert zodra een bezoeker dichterbij komt of verlichting die verandert op basis van interactie.
Onze technologie wordt wereldwijd gebruikt door toonaangevende merken, retailers en technologiepartners. Vanuit ons hoofdkantoor in Eindhoven werken we met een team van ongeveer 20 collega’s aan producten die hun weg vinden naar projecten van de Verenigde Staten tot Japan.
Wat ga je doen?
Als Technical Product Specialist ben je de verbindende schakel tussen onze producten, klanten, partners, Operations en het Product Development Team. Je kent onze producten van binnen en van buiten en helpt anderen om er het maximale uit te halen.
Dit is geen functie waarin je alleen achter een bureau met producten bezig bent. Je werkt dagelijks hands-on met onze sensoren en controllers. Je test nieuwe producten, onderzoekt technische vraagstukken, bouwt demo’s en testopstellingen en helpt klanten om onze technologie succesvol toe te passen.
Je werkzaamheden zijn veelzijdig en bestaan onder andere uit:
- Klanten en partners adviseren over de beste productoplossing voor hun project
- Technische ondersteuning bieden tijdens de voorbereiding, installatie en oplevering van klantprojecten
- Meedenken over creatieve en impactvolle interactieve toepassingen
- Testopstellingen, demonstraties en proofs of concept bouwen
- Technische trainingen en productpresentaties verzorgen
- Complexe technische informatie vertalen naar duidelijke en praktische uitleg
- Feedback en behoeften van klanten verzamelen en vertalen naar productverbeteringen
- Nieuwe producten en prototypes uitgebreid testen
- Meedenken over functionaliteiten, gebruiksvriendelijkheid en productpositionering
- Operations ondersteunen bij producttechnische vragen en kwaliteitsvraagstukken
- Productdocumentatie en interne kennis actueel houden
Je maakt onderdeel uit van het Product Development Team. Vanuit jouw kennis van klantbehoeften en de praktijkervaring die je met onze producten opdoet, lever je een actieve bijdrage aan het definiëren en ontwikkelen van nieuwe oplossingen. Je denkt mee vanaf het eerste idee, test prototypes intensief, en helpt ervoor te zorgen dat nieuwe producten aansluiten bij de behoeften van onze klanten.
Al onze producten worden geassembleerd en getest op ons hoofdkantoor in Eindhoven. Hierdoor zit je dicht op de techniek en kun je snel schakelen met Development en Operations.
Je krijgt veel vrijheid om je rol zelf vorm te geven en mee te bouwen aan de verdere groei en professionalisering van Nexmosphere. Omdat we internationaal actief zijn, werk je voornamelijk met klanten en partners buiten Nederland. Enkele keren per jaar reis je naar beurzen, evenementen, klantlocaties of trainingen in binnen- en buitenland.
Ben jij dit?
- Je hebt hbo- of wo-werk- en denkniveau
- Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Engels
- Je houdt van afwisseling in je werk en vindt het leuk om nieuwe dingen te leren
- Je bent communicatief sterk en hebt graag contact met klanten en partners
- Je hebt affiniteit met techniek en begrijpt graag hoe dingen werken
- Je houdt ervan om hands-on bezig te zijn, bijvoorbeeld door nieuwe producten te testen of demo’s op te bouwen
- Je kunt zelfstandig werken, neemt initiatief en gaat proactief op zoek naar oplossingen
- Je bent minimaal 32 uur per week beschikbaar

Who are we?
Nexmosphere develops and manufactures sensors and controllers that enable companies to create interactive experiences in retail stores, museums, showrooms, public spaces and other environments.
For example, a product video that starts automatically when someone picks up a sneaker from a shelf, a screen that responds when a visitor approaches or lighting that changes based on user interaction.
Our technology is used worldwide by leading brands, retailers and technology partners. From our headquarters in Eindhoven, our team of approximately 20 colleagues develops products that are used in projects ranging from the United States to Japan.
What will you do?
As a Technical Product Specialist, you will be the connecting link between our products, customers, partners, Operations and the Product Development Team. You will know our products inside and out and help others get the most out of them.
This is not a role in which you will spend all your time working behind a desk. You will work hands-on with our sensors and controllers every day. You will test new products, investigate technical questions, build demos and test setups and help customers successfully implement our technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising customers and partners on the best product solution for their projects
- Providing technical support during the preparation, installation and completion of customer projects
- Contributing ideas for creative and impactful interactive applications
- Building test setups, demonstrations and proofs of concept
- Providing technical training and product presentations
- Translating complex technical information into clear and practical explanations
- Gathering customer feedback and requirements and translating them into product improvements
- Thoroughly testing new products and prototypes
- Contributing ideas relating to functionality, usability and product positioning
- Supporting Operations with product-related technical questions and quality issues
- Keeping product documentation and internal knowledge up to date
You will be part of the Product Development Team. Using your understanding of customer needs and the practical experience you gain from working with our products, you will actively contribute to defining and developing new solutions. You will be involved from the initial idea onwards, thoroughly test prototypes and help ensure that new products meet our customers’ needs.
All our products are assembled and tested at our headquarters in Eindhoven. This means you will work closely with the technology and can communicate directly with our Development and Operations teams.
You will have plenty of freedom to shape your role and contribute to Nexmosphere’s continued growth and professionalisation. As we operate internationally, you will mainly work with customers and partners outside the Netherlands. Several times a year, you will travel to trade shows, events, customer locations or training sessions in the Netherlands and abroad.
