As a Senior Test Manager, you will lead and coordinate testing activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that quality objectives are achieved within complex IT environments. - Develop and maintain test strategies for complex IT projects and programs.
- Define test approaches, objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure testing activities are aligned with project goals and business requirements.
- Identify testing risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Bring your expertise and perspective to the planning process and help teams make informed decisions.
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Monitor testing progress and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all testing phases.
- Encourage collaboration across teams to achieve shared quality objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, management, architects, product owners, and operational teams.
- Facilitate open and effective communication between technical and business stakeholders.
- Balance competing priorities and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Create an environment where different perspectives and ideas can contribute to better outcomes.
- Ensure testing methodologies, standards, and best practices are consistently applied.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and quality management practices.
- Support the implementation of modern testing approaches within the organization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues in developing their testing expertise.
- Provide clear and transparent reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and issues.
- Identify defects and potential risks at an early stage.
- Translate identified risks into appropriate testing strategies and action plans.
- Escalate critical issues when necessary and help teams work towards effective solutions.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in software testing and quality management.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Test Manager within complex IT projects and programs.
- Experience working within Agile environments and Scrum teams.
- Demonstrable experience with Jira and Xray for test management, execution, and reporting.
- Experience developing and implementing testing strategies for complex IT environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to operate effectively at operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
- Communication in Dutch Language skills preferred (C1).
The following certifications are considered a strong advantage:
- Scrum certification.
- TMap certification.
- ISTQB certification.
Experience within one or more of the following domains is highly desirable:
- Unified Communications (UC)
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Directory Services (DS)
- ServiceNow
