As a key account manager at Innova Market Insights, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding relationships with our most strategic clients across the European food FMCG market. You are a senior-level commercial professional with extensive experience managing large key accounts. Working closely with our marketing, R&D, and sales teams, you will help shape and execute innovation strategies for our clients.
Your mission is to successfully manage the sales process, maximize business growth through tailored solutions, and enhance customer satisfaction. Our clients are located throughout Europe, giving you the unique opportunity to travel and visit them regularly.
Responsibilities

Account management: take ownership of the success of our largest European clients by building and maintaining long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Consultative selling: act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and helping clients identify the solutions that best meet their business objectives.

Strategy & commercial growth: Drive commercial success by identifying opportunities, closing deals, and expanding both new and existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

Communication & stakeholder management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and communicate effectively at the executive level.

Market & competitive analysis: Monitor market trends and competitive developments to ensure our strategy and value proposition continue to align with evolving customer needs.
Your Qualifications:

You have at least 7 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably as a key account manager, customer success manager, or a similar position within a B2B environment.

You hold a Bachelor's degree (HBO or equivalent).

You have proven experience with consultative selling, as well as upselling and cross-selling.

You have a strong track record of managing large key accounts and engaging with C-level stakeholders.

You have excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.

You have a strong commercial mindset, a passion for sales, and a drive to achieve results.

You are proactive, results-oriented, and think strategically.

You possess excellent negotiation skills and can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Experience within the food and beverage industry is a plus.
