51 TrainMore clubs. Several regions. Yours has around 15 of them. That’s 15 clubs, 15 teams, 15 sets of numbers, and one person accountable for all of it. You.
As regional manager you’ll combine operational excellence with genuine commercial ownership. You’re on the floor coaching Club Managers on sales and leadership one day; the next you’re presenting your regional performance plan to the Operations Director and pushing back where needed. Both need to be sharp.
You’ve managed a portfolio before, not just one site. You know how to make ten things move at once, where to focus your energy, and how to have the hard conversations when performance isn’t where it needs to be. If that’s you, read on.
Your portfolio
- Full day-to-day performance of ~15 clubs: commercially, operationally, and on standards.
- KPI ownership across sales, conversion, retention, satisfaction, and operational quality.
- Ambitious targets set with your team and the accountability structures to back them up.
- Structured improvement plans when clubs fall short. Clear, fast, no ambiguity.
- Maintenance and facility issues escalated and resolved: safety and continuity aren’t optional.
Your people
- Club Managers who are better leaders because of you: coached on performance, sales fundamentals, and ownership of results.
- Regular on-site visits with real coaching, not just observation.
- A culture where people know what’s expected and feel equipped to deliver it.
Your stakeholders
- Weekly reporting to the Operations Director: results, risks, growth opportunities. Clear, data-led, direct.
- Active partnership with senior leadership: you present, you challenge, you influence. You’re not just reporting up; you’re shaping decisions.
- Cross-functional relationships with HR, Marketing, Finance, and Maintenance: getting things done through others is part of the job.
What we need from you
Non-negotiable
- Multi-entity or multi-site management experience. You’ve run a portfolio — not just one or two locations. This is the foundation everything else builds on.
- Proven comfort with senior stakeholder management: presenting, influencing, and pushing back at Operations Director level and above.
- Commercial sharpness: you drive sales and retention results through your team, not just monitor them.
- Strong data instincts: you use KPIs to diagnose problems and prioritise action, not just report numbers.
- A coaching leadership style: you develop managers, not just manage them.
- High hospitality standards and genuine alignment with what TrainMore stands for.
- Resilience. This is a big region. Some weeks are hard. You stay clear-headed.
Good to have
- Background in fitness, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced consumer-facing multi-site business.
- Experience with membership or subscription models.
- You’ve built or scaled a regional team from the ground up.
What you get

- Swap public holidays to suit your life, not the other way around.

- One day a year for charity work. Pick something that matters to you.
- OpenUpL unlimited mental health and well-being access for you and your family.
