Our Corporate Litigation & Mergers and Acquisitionsteam consists of three experienced attorneys, three attorney trainees (all specializing in Book 2), and a team assistant (legal secretary). We have only one goal for our clients: to achieve results. We assist our clients with acquisitions and equity investments—from small to large—as well as with disputes both within and outside companies and with internal advice on governance. In short: we advise on mergers and disputes.
As a team assistant, you’re part of an ambitious team. You’ll work alongside another team assistant, and together with the shared service center, you’ll handle the secretarial work so that the attorneys fully on their work. This includes managing attorneys schedules attorneys assisting with deadline tracking. You’ll create and maintain case files and keep client information up to date. In addition, you’ll independently draft correspondence, edit legal documents, and actively take on other (legal) tasks. You’ll also handle some administrative tasks, such as creating or reviewing presentations for your colleagues or contacting clients. Of course, you’ll also participate in the weekly team meeting. In short, you’ll be the linchpin of the team.
You are a team player with an interest (and possibly experience) in the legal industry. You find it rewarding to support the attorneys that they can focus entirely on defending our clients’ interests. You also work with precision and are motivated to continually learn new things. You enjoy contributing ideas to make processes more efficient. In addition, you have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking. Some secretarial experience or a completed (legal) secretarial training program would, of course, be a plus. You are available 24 hours per week (on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays). You are proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with digital systems and programs. It would be great if you have experience with document management. Of course, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch. Are you also proficient in German and/or Engels? Let us know, because that would be ideal.
- A salary between € 2,673.08 and € 3,779.75 gross per month (depending on age and work experience) based on 40-hour (full-time) employment, according to function group 5.
- 25 vacation days based on a 40-hour work week.
