Junior Consultant Mechatronica

Over de rol
Als Consultant Mechatronica werk je aan uitdagende projecten bij toonaangevende high‑tech en medische technologiebedrijven. Je bent de schakel tussen mechanica, elektronica en software, en draagt bij aan het ontwerp, de industrialisatie en validatie van complexe mechatronische systemen en modules. Je combineert diepgaande technische kennis met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en voelt je thuis in een multidisciplinair team.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
Ontwerpen, analyseren en verbeteren van mechatronische systemen (mechanica, elektronica, aandrijftechniek, sensoren, embedded software).
Vertalen van klant‑ en gebruikersrequirements naar technische specificaties en ontwerpkeuzes.
Uitvoeren van berekeningen, simulaties en risicoanalyses (bijv. FMEA) ter onderbouwing van ontwerpbeslissingen.
Begeleiden van prototyping, testen en validatie van systemen en subsystemen.
Ondersteunen van product‑industrialisatie: overdracht van R&D naar productie, DfX (DfM, DfA, DfT).
Samenwerken met interne en externe stakeholders (R&D, productie, QA/RA, leveranciers) en bewaken van voortgang en kwaliteit.
Signaleren van verbetermogelijkheden in processen en werkwijzen en bijdragen aan continuous improvement.
Wie ben jij?
Afgeronde hbo/wo‑opleiding in Mechatronica, Werktuigbouwkunde, Elektrotechniek, Automotive of vergelijkbaar.
1–5+ jaar ervaring in een mechatronische omgeving (bijv. high‑tech, machinebouw, medische apparatuur, automotive).
Kennis van mechanisch ontwerp (CAD), basis elektronica en besturingstechniek; ervaring met sensoren en actuatoren is een pré.
Ervaring met testen, analyseren en valideren van mechatronische systemen; bekend met relevante normen en richtlijnen is een plus.
Sterke analytische vaardigheden, hands‑on mentaliteit en een pragmatische, resultaatgerichte aanpak.
Communicatief vaardig in het Nederlands en Engels; je voelt je comfortabel in een klantomgeving.
Flexibel en bereid om op locatie bij klanten te werken (3 dagen per week on‑site is gangbaar).

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.
