About us and the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist who enjoys creating structure and keeping processes running smoothly. Pesco Supply is an international trading company based in Utrecht, specialized in the distribution of FMCG products (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages).
As a Sales Support Specialist, you are the operational backbone of the trading team responsible for accurate and efficient administration and handling of our sales orders. You ensure that orders move smoothly, from purchase to delivery, while coordinating closely with traders, logistical partners, warehouses, and international customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage purchase and sales orders within our ERP system
- Coordinate transportation (road and container shipments) in collaboration with logistical partners
- Maintain contact with customers, suppliers and warehouses
- Monitor order progress and proactively identify potential bottlenecks
- Ensure accurate, complete, and well-structured administration
The candidate we are looking for
You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. You take ownership of your work and maintain a clear overview in an environment where multiple processes run simultaneously.
You have strong communication skills, easily interact with various stakeholders, and feel comfortable in an international and dynamic work environment. You can work both independently and as part of a team. Furthermore:
- Excellent command of English in both written and spoken is a requirement
- Experience in logistics, administrative, or back-office role is a requirement
- MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking, preferably in a logistics- or commercial related field
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus
