The Head of Section Energy Transition Strategies and Solutions sits within the department of Energy Markets and Strategy (EMS), part of Energy Systems Northern Europe and reports to the Head of Department Energy Markets and Strategy.
You and your team will play a key role in supporting customers in the energy transition with a focus on Hydrogen and low carbon fuels, CCS and power generation. The department offers services like Technical and Commercial Due Diligence (TDD & CDD), LTA, feasibility studies and market studies. Therefor your team of 25 consultants consists of a combination of technical expertise, markets and regulatory experience and project management as well.
This role provides the opportunity to combine leadership and commercial responsibilities with strategic impact. The role offers the opportunity to shape the direction of the section while fostering an inclusive and high-performing team environment and collaboration with other sections and Key Account Managers in the region.
This position is based in Arnhem, and the members of your team are based in the Netherlands.
Your responsibilities:
Team leadership & Business Development
- Lead, coach and support a team of approximately 25 consultants.

Lead the Business Development & Sales activities in the team.
Strategy & business direction

Develop and implement the section’s business plan.
- Contribute to departmental strategy and decision-making.

Identify opportunities for innovation and service development and business development.
Delivery & operations

Ensure high-quality and consistent delivery of services.

Support effective planning, workload balance and resource allocation.

Act as Project Sponsor for selected projects.
Commercial engagement

Contribute to business development, sales and client relationships.

Collaborate with segment leads, key account managers and colleagues across the organization.

Represent the section internally and externally.
