At Boels Site Preparations, we help construction sites across the Netherlands work safely and efficiently by installing temporary site equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you'll install, dismantle and commission personnel and material hoists at construction sites throughout the country.
Every project is different. One week you could be working on a large apartment building where the hoist is raised as the building gets taller, so you'll return to the same site several times. The next week you might install a smaller hoist that can be completed in just one day.
The hoists you work on can reach heights of up to 50–60 meters, so working at height is an important part of the job.
Before the equipment is delivered to site, your colleagues in the workshop inspect and prepare it. Once everything arrives on site, it's your job to assemble the hoist, secure it safely, and make sure it's working properly. You'll also explain to customers how to use the hoist safely.

What do you bring to the table?
- An MBO Level 4 diploma (or a similar technical qualification).
- At least 4 years of technical work experience. Experience with construction hoists isn't required—we'll teach you everything you need to know.
- A valid Category B driving licence.
- A VCA certificate, or you're willing to get one through Boels.
- You're comfortable working at heights.
- You're physically fit and enjoy hands-on work.
