Facility Project Manager – Northern Europe
Ready to take ownership of facility projects that shape how large-scale logistics operations run across Northern Europe? At GXO, you will lead varied facility and technical projects across Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, from new customer implementations and site expansions to renovations, workplace improvements and technical installations.
This is a hands-on, visible role where you’ll work closely with local facility teams, engineering, operations, suppliers and senior stakeholders to turn customer requirements into practical, safe and cost-effective facility solutions.
Your main base will be Eindhoven, so you must live within commutable distance of this site and have a clean EU driving license.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead end-to-end facility projects, including office moves, renovations, technical installations, customer implementations and site expansions.
- Translate customer and engineering requirements into practical facility solutions for new and existing sites.
- Coordinate external contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality, safety and compliance throughout each project.
- Define project budgets, monitor costs and support tenders with realistic facility budget estimates.
- Improve workplace performance, space planning and day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites.
- Work across the Northern Europe region and report directly to the Head of Facility & Security Northern Europe.
What will help you succeed
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Construction or a related field.
- A facility management background with around 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of hard services, such as building-related installations, fire safety and technical facilities; experience with soft services such as cleaning, catering or security is also useful.
- Strong project management skills, including communication, budgeting, planning and stakeholder coordination.
- A practical, service-minded approach and the ability to work well with different teams and locations.
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Technical or automation knowledge would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Why this role could be a great move for you
- A competitive salary aligned with your knowledge and experience, plus bonus, lease car, smartphone and laptop.
- A high-impact role with real ownership, variety and visibility across multiple countries.
- The chance to work on projects that directly influence how our sites operate and how our people experience the workplace.
- An entrepreneurial, open and informal culture where your ideas and input are valued.
- Supportive colleagues who work together, help each other and celebrate success.
- Plenty of opportunity to keep developing through hands-on learning, courses and training.
