Your activities
As an Assistant Controller, you play a key role in keeping our international Private Label business financially healthy and in control. You make sure financial data is accurate, reports are delivered on time, and the administration runs smoothly.
Your work combines operational finance with analysis and improvement. You monitor customer credit risks, manage debtor processes, support monthly closings, and prepare financial reports that help the business make informed decisions.
You'll also be involved in product costing, pricing reviews, tax returns, and margin analyses. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Sales, and Operations, you'll help improve processes and contribute to the successful implementation of our new ERP system.

Our team
You will join the Finance team of Kabrita International Business Unit (KIBU) in Zwolle. Together with two fellow Assistant Controllers, a Commercial Controller, and a Finance Lead, you'll support an international business that continues to grow and evolve.
The team offers plenty of opportunities to learn on the job. Through close collaboration with experienced colleagues, you'll be introduced to different areas of Finance and gradually broaden your knowledge and responsibilities. We look beyond the boundaries of the role and encourage development across various financial disciplines whenever possible.
At the same time, the team is in the middle of an exciting ERP implementation. This means you'll have the opportunity to help shape future processes and contribute ideas that improve the way we work.
You are the fit if
- You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) degree, preferably in business administration or a similar field;
- You have at least 2 years of work experience in an all-round administrative area, within accountancy or as an assistant controller;
- You have a proactive work attitude and strong numerical insight;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English;
- Good command of Excel and knowledge of SAP (a plus);
- You remain critical, even when the workload is high;
- You are accurate, independent, and remain calm in a changing environment;
- And finally, you have a practical mindset, are proactive, and can work accurately.
